The Orishas: Ogun
A dark fantasy mythology of forgotten deities awakens, igniting a new and intense adventure. Coming soon!
About the book
Open your mind to a mythological tale of the Orishas—ancient deities long shrouded in darkness and forgotten by time. As new light begins to shine on these divine beings, we witness the journey of a young Ogun. He embarks on this journey with his family in his hometown of Ile-Ife.
Ogun’s boundless curiosity leads him to the threshold of manhood. There, he witnesses the horrific fate of traitorous men. It is an unforgettable glimpse into the harsh truths of power and justice. His father, King Oduduwa, sees this as a moment to test his fortitude. King Oduduwa wants him to take the next steps of his life. This journey is to a mysterious place called the Land of the Forgotten.
There, Ogun must brave the dangers of both the natural and the supernatural. Will he succeed in his journey to cross over into manhood? Can he become what he was always meant to be: the Orisha of war and metal?
About the Author
This book is a mythic adventure inspired by West African traditions and spiritual folklore. It also draws from the timeless power of storytelling. Writing this book was a way to connect with ancient roots while imagining bold new futures.
When I’m not crafting stories, you’ll likely find me spending time with family, exercising, or out on the basketball court. These activities keep me grounded, focused, and inspired.
This series is just getting started, with more books and creative projects on the way. I created the books made from scratch website to share updates about my own work. I also wanted to build a space where other authors can promote and sell their books. This feature is in the works and will be available in the future.
For now, I can’t wait to bring you along for the journey about The Orishas: Ogun upon its completion.
